Responsibilities

• Provide customized massage therapy sessions based on each client’s needs and goals
• Deliver a professional, welcoming, and high-quality guest experience
• Maintain accurate client notes and treatment documentation
• Educate clients about appropriate massage modalities and service enhancements without sales quotas
• Maintain the cleanliness and professionalism of treatment rooms and common areas
• Communicate effectively with clients, management, and other team members
• Follow all spa policies, safety procedures, and state licensing requirements

Qualifications

• Current Michigan massage therapy license required
• Recent graduates are encouraged to apply
• Knowledge of Swedish massage required
• Experience with additional modalities is valued but not required
• Able to customize sessions based on client needs
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
• Belief in the physical and emotional benefits of massage therapy and bodywork
• Able to maintain required professional liability insurance
• Experience in deep tissue, prenatal, trigger point, neuromuscular, sports massage, craniosacral, Reiki, or other modalities is welcome
