Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) - Telehealth
About the role
Brightside Health is redefining telehealth through evidence-based, measurement-driven behavioral health care. The model combines proven clinical frameworks with technology and human-centered care to deliver real outcomes. Therapists can build a flexible, sustainable private practice with strong clinical and operational support, and the freedom to do meaningful work on their own terms. Specialized programs include Suicide Prevention (CAMS training provided), Teen Therapy, and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for mental health and substance use.
Responsibilities
- Deliver weekly telehealth (video-based) therapy sessions to individuals across a range of behavioral health conditions
- Apply evidence-based approaches including CBT and the Unified Protocol (UP); additional modalities such as ACT, DBT, and EMDR are welcomed
- Use measurement-based care to track progress via digital assessments
- Collaborate with psychiatrists and fellow therapists for integrated care
- Maintain documentation using our AI-enabled, HIPAA-compliant EMR
Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctorate in Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work
- Active independent license (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, LPC, LCPC, LICSW, LISW, PsyD, PhD)
- 2+ years experience delivering CBT and other evidence-based therapies to adults
- Experience with telehealth or online therapy
- Comfortable treating diverse populations across behavioral health conditions
- Tech‑comfortable and open to digital tools in care delivery
- Ability to commit to a minimum of 9 hours of availability per week across at least 2 days
- Experience with higher‑acuity populations and/or adolescents preferred
- Multi‑state licensure a strong plus

Pay
Compensation: $83‑103 per 53+ minute session, depending on state and program participation. Payment protection: get paid for no‑shows and late cancellations.
Schedule
Minimum availability: 9 hours per week across at least 2 days. Flexible scheduling: create your own schedule, Monday–Sunday, 7 am–9 pm.
