Licensed Land Surveyor Project Manager/Office Lead

Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of survey projects, exercising creativity and ingenuity in devising criteria, techniques, strategy and methodologies for approaching assigned projects.
- Lead and manage survey projects and client relationships in the Leominster area.
- Coordinate and assist in scheduling and preparing cost estimates under the supervision of the Survey Director.
- Work closely with personnel from other departments, as necessary, to ensure fulfillment of contract requirements.
- Assume responsibility for quality control to ensure surveys are correct and accurate.
- Make recommendations on hiring, evaluating, promoting, or disciplining assigned crew members.
- Promote new business for the total company and for own area of expertise.
- Supervise, coordinate, and review work of project managers.
Requirements
- Licensure as a Massachusetts Professional Land Surveyor registration required.
- Experience in Boundary surveys, Topographic surveys, ALTA surveys, Land Court Surveys, Subdivisions and Construction Layout surveys.
- Minimum of 15 years of related industry experience, with at least 3 years of experience as a PLS preferred.
- Working knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Office Suite, Civil 3D software experience is preferred. AutoCAD is required.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Effective manager of people with the ability to inspire, lead, communicate, support, and mentor.
- Able to understand and follow written and oral instructions, able to clearly communicate information both verbally and in writing.
- Valid driver's license & reliable transportation required.
Qualifications

Pay
The estimated range for this role is: $96,065 - $143,598. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as related work experience, location, market conditions, education/training, certifications, credentials, skills, and demonstrated proficiency for the role. Compensation is reviewed at least annually each year. Compensation is also adjusted throughout the year to recognize position advancement, responsibilities and licensure and/or certification.
