Licensed Journeyman HVAC Technician

We do all residential HVAC—gas furnaces, heat pumps, oil boilers, geothermal, IAQ, install, maintenance, service, and more. Whatever we do, we do it right. If you don’t like people, you won’t like it here. Customer service to us means caring enough to present options for each home and family and giving them the power of choice.

Day in the life

• Brush your teeth and tuck in your shirt like a professional
• Fill your truck with whatever you need from our fully stocked warehouse
• Open your company-provided iPad and iPhone to see your first money-making opportunity
• Arrive on time at the customer’s home and deliver 6-star service that earns an incredible review
• Receive real-time coaching and support for whatever you need—because you said you were coachable
• Have parts and materials delivered to you so your head stays in the game, not on the road
• Record notes for the next technician because you’re about the team
• Collect payment from the customer—if the company doesn’t get paid, neither do you
• Head home after a full day at your first call—supper time

Responsibilities

• Learn and implement the One Hour service system, procedures, and ethical practices
• Accurately diagnose problems in clients’ HVAC systems
• Effectively recommend service and repair options to convert opportunities into sold work
• Properly perform service, maintenance, and repairs while maintaining a less than 1% callback ratio
• Optimize profitability through effective time management and inventory control
• Maintain a neat work area and inspect it for cleanliness after each job
• Maintain the company vehicle, ensuring it is always clean inside and out

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the HVAC industry
• Understand that goals are good, but real gains are better
• Harness motivation into delivering the best customer service on the East Coast
• Be a doer—sayers need not apply
