About the role
We are looking for a Journeyman HVAC Technician with a minimum of five (5) years of actual, practical working experience in installation, troubleshooting, and repair in the residential service industry. You will work as a senior technician for a heating and air conditioning company, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and installing residential HVAC parts and equipment at a high level.
Responsibilities
- Learn and implement One Hour service system, procedures, and ethical practices
- Accurately diagnose problems of clients' HVAC systems
- Effectively recommend service and repair options to convert opportunities into solid work
- Properly perform service, maintenance, and repairs while maintaining a less than 1% callback ratio
- Optimize profitability through effective time management and inventory control
- Maintain a neat work area and inspect for cleanliness after completion of each job
- Maintain company vehicle, ensuring it is always clean inside and out
- Build and maintain rapport with existing and new customers
- Educate customers on repair options and available choices
- Actively participate in trainings, department meetings, and company meetings
- Demonstrate leadership skills such as servitude, humility, competency, dependability, and self-management
- Fulfill company policies and set revenue goals
- Work cohesively with office personnel
Requirements
- MD HVAC Journeyman's License
- Minimum of five (5) years of practical working experience in residential HVAC installation, troubleshooting, and repair
- Strong customer service skills and ability to educate customers on options
- Self-managed, dependable, and coachable
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
