About the role

Hunt Electric, Inc. is seeking a full-time licensed Electrician for their ISC project within the electrical division. This position is based in Delta, Utah, with occasional onsite work at the St. George office. The compensation includes a travel allowance with per diem, base pay, and a $3 hourly incentive.

Responsibilities

  • Installation and execution of electrical construction projects
  • Bend conduit (EMT)
  • Wiring
  • Industrial lighting
  • Conduit rough-in for security and data communication systems
  • Distribution panels according to blueprints and NEC code
  • Stand for long periods of time
  • Climb ladders several times in a row
  • Work with hands above your head with tools
  • Lift tools and equipment above your head several times
  • Lift up to 100 lbs
  • Stretch, bend, stand, climb, and move continuously
  • Show aptitude for learning and goal-oriented mindset for growth
  • Actively contribute to a positive team environment
  • Show dependability with regular attendance and adherence to scheduled work hours
  • Show knowledge of the National Electric Code
  • Be a self-starter and dependable
  • Perform other duties or locations as assigned by the Manager

Requirements

  • Valid Utah electrical license
  • Enrolled in an appropriate apprentice-level school program as an apprentice
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Willingness to travel and work in Delta
  • Ability to work jobsite hours with possible overtime and weekends
  • Pass a background check and drug test

Qualifications

  • Self-starter and dependable

This is a full-time position with a typical working schedule of Monday through Thursday from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and possible Saturdays.
