Licensed Journeyman Electrician

About the role

We are seeking Arkansas Journeyman Licensed Electricians for work in northeastern Arkansas in our Service Department. This position typically works four 10-hour shifts with the potential for overtime.

Responsibilities

• Install conduit, wire, and cable systems as required
• Read and interpret blueprints
• Install and terminate panels, switchboards, and other electrical equipment
• Perform troubleshooting and repairs on faulty circuits, equipment, or systems
• Gain diverse electrical skills through learning from colleagues at Amteck
• Participate in training for low voltage, fire alarm, controls, and instrumentation

Requirements

• A valid Arkansas Journeyman Electrician License
• At least 5 years of electrical experience on commercial or industrial sites
• Ability to install and terminate electrical equipment
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems
• Control experience is a plus
• OSHA10 certification preferred but not required
