Licensed Funeral Director

Responsibilities

• Guide families through the planning and coordination of meaningful, personalized services
• Bring both professional expertise and genuine compassion to every interaction
• Arrange and direct services
• Care for the deceased
• Community outreach
• Documentation and compliance
• Support families with aftercare and follow-up

Requirements

• Valid Funeral Director and/or Embalmer State License
• Must have the ability to obtain a MN license
• Degree from an accredited Mortuary Science Program
• Completion of National Board Exam, internship, and applicable State Board Exam
• Valid Driver's License with a clean record
• Mentorship, professional development, and advancement pathways

Pay

The salary range is $70,000-$85,000. Actual compensation will depend on a variety of factors, including skills, experience, qualifications, and location.
