The Funeral Director And Embalmer Duties Include Providing the highest level of service to our client families with respect, dignity, and compassionCaring of deceased including embalming, restoring, dressing, cosmetizing, casketing, and handling cremated remainsPreparing for and coordinating services Overseeing, directing and, as necessary, assisting any scheduled services Being knowledgeable of all programs and services offered Ensuring the highest standard of professional and ethical conduct in all activitiesWorking collaboratively with other funeral professionals to exceed expectations This Person Must Be a Licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer in the state of MichiganHave a minimum of three years previous licensed funeral director/embalmer experience Be familiar with a wide range of religious and cultural funeral services and customsBe passionate about and committed to delivering outstanding service Have excellent verbal and written communications skillsWork in a professional, pleasant, and composed mannerHave a positive attitude and strong work ethicPossess a valid Michigan driver’s license and an insurable driving record Be able to stand for long periods of time and to lift and exert force as needed We are an equal opportunity employer.
