Licensed Esthetician (Waxing Group)

About the role

We are seeking a licensed Esthetician to join our growing team at Waxing the City. The ideal candidate will perform a full range of waxing services, including brows, bikini, Brazilian, and full body waxing. They will also handle brow and lash services, and provide exceptional customer service while building lasting client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of waxing services (brows, bikini, Brazilian, full body, etc.)
• Perform Brow and Lash services (continued education provided)
• Provide exceptional customer service standards and build lasting client relationships
• Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment with state guidelines
• Educate clients on post-wax care and recommend after-care products
• Embrace and understand the importance of continued learning and process improvement
• Proactively build and own your book of business
• Support and protect our studio’s culture
• Assist with front desk and other studio tasks as needed

Requirements

• Current state licensure; Esthetician or Cosmetologist
• Some evening and weekend availability
• Passion for waxing and the beauty industry
• Time management skills
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Flexible and adaptable individual who embraces being a part of a team
• Exceptional customer service
• Self-motivated and performance driven

Qualifications

Required qualifications include a passion for waxing and the beauty industry, time management skills, strong communication skills, flexibility, adaptability, exceptional customer service, self-motivation, and performance-driven attitude. Additionally, candidates must be licensed in the state of MN and available for some evening and weekend shifts.

Skills

Proficiency in waxing techniques, customer service skills, and ability to maintain a clean and sanitized work environment are essential. Candidates should also be able to educate clients on post-wax care and recommend appropriate after-care products.

Pay
