As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Licensed Residential Electrician with experience supporting HVAC systems and equipment installations.
As a Licensed Residential Electrician, you'll perform electrical service, repairs, upgrades, and installations for residential customers while partnering closely with our HVAC installation and service teams. You'll ensure all electrical work associated with heating and cooling equipment is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with Washington electrical codes.
Responsibilities
- Perform residential electrical service, repairs, troubleshooting, and installations.
- Install and upgrade electrical systems supporting HVAC equipment, including:
- Heat pumps
- Air conditioning systems
- Furnaces
- Ductless mini-split systems
- Air handlers
- Smart thermostats and controls
- Install dedicated circuits, disconnects, breakers, subpanels, service upgrades, surge protection, and whole-home electrical solutions.
- Diagnose electrical issues impacting HVAC system performance.
- Collaborate with HVAC Installers and Service Technicians to ensure seamless project completion.
- Perform electrical safety inspections and recommend code-compliant upgrades.
- Educate homeowners on electrical safety and available system improvements.
- Accurately complete work orders, estimates, and customer documentation using company software.
- Maintain company vehicle, tools, inventory, and equipment.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional appearance.
- Follow all state licensing requirements, OSHA regulations, and company safety standards.
Qualifications
- Washington State EL01 or EL02 Electrical License required.
- Minimum of 2+ years of residential electrical experience.
- Experience performing electrical work related to HVAC systems preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Thorough knowledge of NEC and Washington State electrical codes.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to pass pre-employment background screening and drug screening where permitted by law.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience installing electrical components for heat pumps, ductless systems, and high-efficiency HVAC equipment.
- Generator, EV charger, or panel upgrade experience.
- Familiarity with smart home technologies and home automation systems.
- NATE certification or HVAC industry experience is a plus.
- Experience using ServiceTitan or similar field service software.
