The Dental Specialists Ridges Pediatrics is seeking a motivated and kid-friendly Licensed Dental Assistant to join their growing pediatric dental practice. Over the past 4+ years, they have experienced steady growth and strong team member retention.
Responsibilities
- Aid the doctor in providing quality dental treatment and education to patients
- Assist with digital radiographs and electronic patient records
- Work in the operating room (OR) at Childrens Minnetonka Surgery Center on select pediatric patients on the first Thursday and fifth Tuesday of each month
- Participate in continuing education courses offered by The Dental Specialists
Requirements
- Minnesota licensure and current CPR certification from the American Heart Association's Basic Life Support for the Healthcare provider
- Experience in digital radiographs and electronic patient record systems preferred
- Pediatrics experience preferred

Pay
Starting wage range: $30.50 - $34.65 per hour
Schedule
Monday: Off
Tuesday: (Ridges) 7:30am-4:15pm
Wednesday: (Rosemount) 7:30am-4:15pm
Thursday: (Rosemount) 7:30am-4:15pm
Friday: (Ridges) 7:30am-4:15pm
Select pediatric patients are seen in the operating room (OR) at Childrens Minnetonka Surgery Center on the first Thursday and fifth Tuesday of each month. Hours on these days vary based on the number of patients scheduled.
Continuing Education
The Dental Specialists offers a variety of continuing education courses for team members, including required courses such as CPR and OSHA Annual Retraining. Dental Assistants who complete all courses offered throughout the year can fulfill their biannual requirements for 25 hours of continuing education.
