About the role
Seeking a Dental Assistant – Oral Surgery to support surgical procedures in a fast-paced, in-office environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons during oral surgeries
- Maintain sterile conditions
- Document patient care
- Obtain radiographs
- Monitor patient status
- Work with advanced dental equipment
- Participate in team discussions to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Licensed Dental Assistant in Massachusetts
- Massachusetts Dental Radiology Certification
- BLS/CPR certification or ability to obtain within 1 month
Skills
- Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and clinical precision
- Effective team player with excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Proficient in clinical documentation and computer use
- Prior experience in periodontal or surgical dental assisting is advantageous
