Licensed Dental Assistant

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists with patient care, including chairside assistance and preparing dental materials
• Take and develop dental X-rays
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-procedure care
• Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment following infection control protocols
• Accurately document patient care and treatment plans in electronic health records
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a positive patient experience

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or GED
• Completion of an accredited dental assisting course
• Active Minnesota Licensed Dental Assistant (LDA) credential
• DANB certification or equivalent state qualification
• Current CPR (BLS) certification
• Proficiency in oral and written English communication
