Licensed Dental Assistant
St. Paul, MN
$33.00-$36.00 per hour | Full-Time
Responsibilities
- Aid providers using four-handed dentistry techniques
- Prepare treatment rooms and patients for a variety of procedures
- Take digital radiographs and intraoral images
- Ensure operatories are clean, organized, and fully stocked
- Sterilize instruments in accordance with OSHA and CDC standards
- Provide patient education before, during, and after treatment
- Fabricate temporary restorations and complete expanded functions as permitted by licensure
- Maintain accurate electronic patient records
- Support efficient patient flow while delivering an exceptional patient experience
- Collaborate with providers, hygienists, and front office team members to keep the day running smoothly
Requirements
- Current Minnesota Licensed Dental Assistant (LDA)
- CPR/BLS Certification
- Knowledge of OSHA and CDC infection control standards
- Experience with digital radiography and dental software
- Coronal polishing and other expanded functions preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Previous chairside dental assisting experience preferred
