Mental Assessment, Treatment, and Crisis Intervention
The Licensed Clinical Social Worker provides mental assessment, treatment, and crisis intervention to court placed youth in a secure setting.
Bonus Information
- $7,500 sign-on/retention bonus available for external hires only, subject to certain conditions.
Schedules
- Tuesday through Saturday (12 pm - 10 pm; some flexibility in schedule)
- Four 10-hour shifts, Sunday through Wednesday; Wednesday through Saturday
Benefits
Provides complete psychosocial assessments of patients and families including abilities, aptitudes, interests and motivation, psychological aspects of physical illnesses, accidents, injuries or disabilities and substance abuse/dependencies.
Treatment and Consultation
- Evaluates, diagnoses, and provides treatment for patients within areas such as anxiety disorders, mood disorders, substance use disorders, aggressive behavior, conduct disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, ADHD, eating disorders, and developmental disorders.
- Establishes achievable treatment goals with clients utilizing the most appropriate types of psychotherapy (i.e., behavior therapy, cognitive therapy, crisis intervention, family/couples, group, counseling and/or supportive cognitive therapy).
- Observes, describes, diagnoses, evaluates, treats, consults, interprets, and modifies human behavior by applying psychological principles, methods, or procedures to patients who suffer from mental, behavioral, or emotional disorders or disabilities.
Documentation and Compliance
Documents appropriate objective, concise and pertinent clinical data in the medical record.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in social work from an accredited institution of higher education, including an internship meeting professional standards.
- Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in New Hampshire.
Pay and Schedule
- Full-time, 40-hour/week benefited position.
