About the Role

Rochester Psychiatric Center is recruiting for a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide professional social work services to individuals with mental illness in their OnTrack NY program. Candidates from outside or within State Service can apply. As an LCSW, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team independently providing clinical social work services.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing emotional and behavior disorders
• Providing psychotherapy
• Conducting biopsychosocial assessments
• Developing assessment-based treatment plans

Requirements

Candidates from outside or within State Service can be considered for hire under the Hiring for Emergency Limited Placement – Statewide (NY HELPS) program if they are licensed and currently registered as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New York State.

OR

Candidates within State Service can be considered for transfer to a competitive class position if they have one year of permanent competitive or 55-b/55-c service in a title eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.

If appointed, you must maintain your license and registration. Failure to do so may result in removal from the position. You cannot be listed as an excluded individual or entity on any Federal or State Medicaid and Medicare exclusion lists (or excluded from any other Federal or Federally assisted program). If listed as excluded after appointment, you may be terminated.

You may be required to become an enrolled Medicare provider, obtain and provide a National Provider Identifier (NPI) number, and actively participate to allow billing through Medicare and Medicaid. Loss of billing ability may result in termination.

Pay

LCSWs are eligible for shift differential pay: 7% for evening and weekend day shifts, 10% for night shifts.

This position will be assigned to the Rochester OnTrack NY program. Background checks will be required.
