Are you ready to start your Social Work career with New York State? Central New York Psychiatric Center is recruiting for a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide professional social work services to individuals with mental illness. Candidates from outside or within State Service can apply.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing emotional and behavior disorders
• Providing psychotherapy
• Conducting biopsychosocial assessments
• Developing assessment-based treatment plans

Requirements

• Licensed and currently registered as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New York State (eligible for hire under the NY HELPS program)
• OR one year of permanent competitive or 55-b/55-c service in a title eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law (for candidates within State Service)
• Must maintain active license and registration; failure to do so may result in removal from the position
• Cannot be listed as an excluded individual or entity on any Federal or State Medicaid/Medicare exclusion lists (or other Federally assisted programs)
• May be required to become an enrolled Medicare provider, obtain a National Provider Identifier (NPI) number, and actively participate in billing through Medicare and Medicaid

Pay

• Shift differential pay: 7% for evening and weekend day shifts, 10% for night shifts

This position is located at Central New York Psychiatric Center's Attica Satellite Unit on the grounds of Attica Correctional Facility in Wyoming County. Background checks will be required.
