Licensed Clinical Social Worker-LCSW

Responsibilities

• Assessment of social/emotional factors related to the illness, need for care, response to treatment, adjustment to care, medical and nursing requirements, financial resources, and community resources.
• Obtain appropriate available resources including community, financial, and care giver resources.
• Counseling services to promote beneficial treatment of the individual’s medical condition.
• Prepare clinical and progress notes.
• Participate in Interdisciplinary Team meetings, discharge planning, and in-service programs.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree from an accredited social work curriculum or master’s degree from a school of social work accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.
• Additional education and clinical hours required to obtain a License in Clinical Social Work.
• Current Oregon licensure as a clinical social worker (LCSW).
• A minimum of one-year social work experience in a health care setting.
• A working knowledge of medical and community resources.
• A desireable background in community social work systems and medical social work.

Pay

Hourly Wage: $35.70 - $53.04 + a 15% per diem premium.
