About the role

Ivy Psychiatry is an NP-founded organization providing quality psychiatric care to nursing home residents. We aim to support older adults and their families by offering comprehensive and preventive mental health care.

Responsibilities

• Round at assigned nursing homes and provide psychotherapy to their clients.
• Work closely and collaboratively with nursing home staff, residents, and families.
• Proactively follow up with patients and assess efficacy of recommended interventions.
• Provide education on best practices.
• Work with the psychiatric provider to integrate pharmacological and behavioral interventions, emphasizing non-pharmacological treatments whenever possible.

Requirements

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
• Valid state licensure as a Psychologist (PhD or PsyD), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Experience working in a nursing home setting.

Pay

$70,000 - $90,000 per annum

Schedule

Part-Time; Contract 1099
