Licensed Clinical Social Worker

About the role

The social worker will maintain a caseload of approximately 12–13 clients within the Competency Restoration Program on 3-East. Essential duties include monitoring clients’ basic psychosocial needs and facilitating discharges to the community. This position supports justice-involved individuals undergoing psychiatric evaluation to determine their ability to proceed with legal proceedings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a caseload of approximately 12–13 clients in the Competency Restoration Program
• Conduct comprehensive Social Service Assessments (initial and/or annual)
• Complete admission and discharge paperwork
• Provide individual and/or group therapy and complete corresponding documentation
• Write monthly/weekly summary progress notes
• Offer case management services to assigned clients
• Conduct suicide risk and other risk assessments as needed
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team on a routine basis
• Participate in discharge and legal processes (e.g., guardianship, conditional release applications)
• Disseminate pertinent information to vested departments within and outside the facility
• Perform other duties as assigned

Eligibility

• Prior experience providing services for individuals with severe and persistent mental health diagnoses and other impairing conditions (substance use disorders, personality disorders, intellectual disorders, etc.)
• Working knowledge of the DSM, evidence-based practices, and social work ethics strongly encouraged
• Degree and/or license in Social Work (MSW, LMSW, or LCSW) preferred
• Provisionally and fully credentialed candidates must be professionally licensed in Missouri
• Will consider candidates nearing completion of an MSW; such individuals may qualify as Clinical Caseworker until MSW completion
• Lack of post-secondary education will not be used as the sole basis for denying consideration

Pay

• Clinical Caseworker: $2,124.60 semi-monthly
• Sr. Clinical Caseworker (MSW): $2,630.00 semi-monthly
• Sr. Clinical Caseworker (LMSW): $2,715.55 semi-monthly
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker: $3,261.00 semi-monthly

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
