Responsibilities
- Lead the treatment team alongside providers, care navigators, and administrators.
- Coordinate decisions about the member’s treatment based on expertise in addiction and recovery.
- Focus on medication management while ensuring the clinical team provides consistent, high-quality counseling activities.
- Adhere to Groups Recovery System to provide clinical outcomes for members.
- Conduct intake assessments to evaluate individuals' appropriateness for the program.
- Complete clinical assessments as assigned each day.
- Provide individual support, such as crisis intervention, referrals, and coordinating with outside parties involved in the member’s treatment.
- Utilize custom EMR to document members’ progress efficiently and value-addedly.
- Partner with providers to evaluate the appropriateness of treatment for every member entering the program.
- Manage compliance activities related to member admission requirements and corresponding documentation.
- Participate in internal and external training required for maintaining licensure.
- Document care coordination needs handled by Care Navigators.
- Represent the treatment team in discussing difficult members.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Required licensure or certification: Behavioral health licensure including but not limited to: LADC, CADC, CCS, LSW, LCSW, CADAC II, CADAC IV, CADAC V, LCAC, LAC, LMFT, LPCC or LMHC and associate level status with ability and willingness to obtain licensure reciprocity in other states.
- Minimum two years of experience leading group therapy in a SUD setting.
- High comfort level with technology, including EMR, email, software, and mobile apps (e.g., Google Apps).
- Deeply invested in member success, authentic, caring, and inspiring, with the ability to maintain appropriate boundaries and accountability.
- Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to build positive relationships with people.
- Committed to a high ethical standard in everything done.
- A team player and willing to put team above self.
- Minimum two years of experience completing intakes in a SUD setting.
- Access to reliable internet and telephone services, specifically download speeds over 40 Mbps and upload speeds over 10 Mbps as well as a strong WiFi signal from your remote work location.
