About the role
The Licensed Clinical Psychologist will provide direct clinical services to students, including individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and mental health consultation. The psychologist will also provide clinical supervision to PhD psychology externs. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and implementing treatment plans, maintaining accurate and confidential clinical records, and collaborating with campus partners to support student wellbeing and safety.
Schedule
This is a part-time, 10 months per year role (August – May) based in Manhattan, NY, with a regular on-campus presence.
Requirements
- Strong background in Mental Health care, including diagnosis, crisis management, and coordination of services and referrals
- Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an accredited program
- Current licensure as a Psychologist in New York State
- Demonstrated commitment to equity, inclusion, and culturally responsive care with diverse, LGBTQ+, and international populations
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills, and ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary academic environment
- Experience in Clinical Supervision, including mentoring, training, and evaluating trainees or early-career clinicians
