About the role

Premise's mission is to help people get, stay, and be well. As a Full Time Licensed Clinical Behavioral Health Professional, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents of Kwik Trip in our Health Center located in La Crosse, WI.

Responsibilities

  • Use a strengths-based approach to support patient well-being.
  • Provide psychotherapy or counseling to individuals, groups, couples, or families.
  • Help patients gain insight, set goals, and plan actions for personal and social development.
  • Identify and diagnose psychological, emotional, or behavioral issues using assessments and records.
  • Apply evidence-based interventions within scope of practice, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, EMDR, Written Exposure Therapy, and CAMS.
  • Counsel patients on stress, substance abuse, and family issues to modify or improve behavior.
  • Collaborate with patients on treatment goals and outcomes.
  • Participate in clinical care team activities, including consultation, case management, care coordination, and referrals.
  • Enter data into patient’s chart to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or equivalent field of study.
  • Licensed as a mental health clinician as per state requirements (e.g. LCSW, LPC, LPCC, LMHC, LMFT, LPCMH, LCPC).
  • Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality (CAMS – care) certification must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
  • 4+ years of experience in the field or in a related area.
  • Prior counseling experience in the field of treatment of behavioral mental health, including depression, mood disorders, alcoholism and drug dependency, family counseling, marital relationship, grief, loss, etc.
  • Experience in crisis management, abuse reporting, and cultural competence to meet the diverse needs of the population served in a treatment setting.
  • Experience identifying, preventing, and treating of suicidal behaviors.
  • Experience with patient referral management and knowledge of available referral resources.

Schedule

Schedule: 40 Hours Per Week, to be built during clinic hours. Clinic Hours: Mon & Tue 6:30 am - 4:30 pm | Wed & Thu 9:00 am - 7:00 pm | Fri 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. Will be required to work 1 late evening. Admin Time Built into Schedule. In-Person & Virtual Visits.
