Licensed Civil Engineer
About the role
Garver’s growing Oklahoma Aviation team is seeking an experienced Licensed Civil Engineer to perform a wide array of aviation-related design, planning, grant administration, and client management services for General Aviation and Commercial Air Service Airports.
Responsibilities
- Project support/management for runway and taxiway construction, airfield lighting and signage installation, access road construction, drainage improvement and pavement rehabilitation projects
- Significant design and construction oversight for multiple general aviation clients
- Collaborating and/or coordinating design teams consisting of multi-discipline design engineers and technicians
- Cordination with clients and funding agencies
- Provide outstanding service
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited program
- 4+ years of related experience
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil3D
- PE in Oklahoma, or ability to obtain within six months of hire
- Strong written and oral communication skills with both internal employees and external clients
- Some travel may be required (approximately 10% with occasional overnight)
Preferred Skills
- Aviation related experience
- Licensed pilot or other aviation-related experience
