About the role

Anchored Soul Counseling is seeking a Licensed Clinician to offer patients a Christian worldview for their mental health treatment. The ideal candidate blends a Christian worldview with evidence-based and effective mental health treatment.

Responsibilities

• Work with those who do not want or are not seeking Christian Counseling
• Offer Christian Counseling upon patient request only
• Work with patients from various backgrounds and age groups
• Provide in-person and virtual therapy appointments
• Maintain a caseload of at least 21 patients (full-time), and 10 patients (part-time)
• Work well with a team and under the supervision and direction of the practice owner
• Strong organizational abilities to maintain sufficient case notes
• Strong written, verbal, and emotional communication between patients and leadership
• Flexible work from home options available

Requirements

• Fully Licensed or licensed eligible (LCSW, LMFT, LPC) in Connecticut
• A deep sense of compassion and insight into self to better understand how their emotions and thoughts influence patients' treatment
• Experience with Christian Counseling and/or training and education in pastoral/Christian counseling is strongly encouraged, but not required
• Training and supervision in this specialty will be available to the candidate
• An extensive knowledge, understanding, and practice of and within Christianity and Christian culture
• A willingness to learn and adapt based on patient and practice needs
