Licensed Child & Family Therapist (Measurement Based Care)– Part-Time (California)

Little Otter is a clinician-founded mental health company delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to children and families through a structured, measurement-informed care model. We're building a model where clinicians can see real outcomes from their work while providing accessible, whole-family care.
Responsibilities
- Provide evidence-based teletherapy to children (ages 6–17) and their families
- Deliver interventions such as CBT, Exposure Response Prevention, Parent Management Training, PCIT, CPP, and other evidence-based modalities
- Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation (intakes, treatment plans, progress notes) using our platform
- Assessment & Measurement-Based Care
- Conduct comprehensive intake and diagnostic assessments for child and family clients
- Perform multi-dimensional evaluations, including assessing family dynamics, school environment, medical history, and cultural factors
- Assess risk and safety including SI/HI/NSSI and complete safety plans with clients when indicated
- Utilize standardized clinical measures to support diagnosis and ongoing care
- Track client progress using session-level measures, incorporating both client-reported and clinician-assessed perspectives
Requirements
- Master’s-level therapist independently licensed in California (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, or equivalent)
- Demonstrated experience providing psychotherapy to children and families
- Strong diagnostic and assessment skills
- Comfortable delivering care virtually and using technology in clinical practice
- Interest in or experience with measurement-informed care and outcomes tracking
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 client caseload, ideally during California peak hours: - Monday - Friday 3pm-7pm - Saturday & Sunday
