About the role
The Licensed Behavioral Health (BH) Outpatient Therapist provides culturally competent, ethical, and compassionate behavioral health services to individuals, families, and couples in an outpatient setting. This role is essential in supporting patients with diverse backgrounds and mental health and substance use needs, helping them achieve emotional wellness and improved quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Aid individuals in identifying and utilizing resources in the community for additional behavioral health, recovery, and SDOH support.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions and progress; maintain confidentiality of all personal information.
- Provide individual and family psychotherapy utilizing evidence-based approaches.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
- Uphold HIPAA standards and maintain patient confidentiality.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy or Psychology.
- Licensed – Issues By Florida Or Compact State Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Mental Health Counselor or Licensed Marital and Family Therapy.
- Certified in Perinatal Mental Health.
- One (1) to two (2) years relevant clinical experience in an outpatient setting, inclusive of 1,500 hours of supervised, post-Master’s clinical experience.
- Experience working with military and veteran populations.
Qualifications
- Knowledge working with children, adolescents, and adults in an outpatient setting with diverse populations presenting range of behavioral health conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, and substance use disorders.
- Highly motivated, independent, and capable of performing in a complex environment with the ability to prioritize effectively and complete tasks.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and competence to establish rapport and build supporting, trusting relationships and maintain healthy boundaries and respect for patient rights and personal preferences.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Pay
$59,779.20
Schedule
Full-time, scheduled days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, shift: day, scheduled hours: 0800-1730.
