Licensed Behavior Analyst (Lead BCBA) with SCH
About the role
The St. Louis Developmental Disabilities Treatment Center is seeking a Lead Behavior Analyst to provide clinical leadership and direct supervision for the Behavior Services Department. This individual will also serve as the primary liaison to the Executive Behavior Team Committee and participate in Joint Behavior Support Committee and Due Process Committee Member activities.
Responsibilities
- Observe consumer behaviors, complete annual and quarterly evaluations and behavior support plans, monitor consumer progress, analyze behavioral data, identify trends and recommend program improvements to support quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide clinical leadership and direct supervision for the Behavior Services Department by coordinating behavioral services, supporting department operations and providing consultation and guidance to Behavior Analysts, Behavior Technicians, interdisciplinary team members, physicians, nurses, and direct support professionals regarding behavioral assessment, intervention strategies, and best practices.
- Serve as the Behavior Analyst for the South County Habilitation Center while providing behavioral consultation and support across SLDDTC locations, including South County and St. Charles.
- Maintain a limited caseload of individuals with developmental disabilities by conducting functional behavior assessments and developing, implementing, and monitoring behavior support plans.
- Act as the primary liaison between the Behavior Services Department and the Executive Behavior Team Committee by communicating recommendations, coordinating initiatives and assisting with implementation of department goals.
- Serve as a committee member of the Joint Behavior Support Committee and Due Process Committee.
- Train staff in the implementation of Behavior Support Plans, Basic Safety Care, Advanced Safety Care, Mental Health First Aid, and other behavioral or crisis intervention topics.
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, incident reviews, leadership meetings, and committee activities as assigned.
- Travel between SLDDTC locations and other assigned sites as necessary to support consumers, staff, and program operations.
Requirements
- Possession of a current license to practice as a Behavior Analyst in Missouri.
- Board Certified by the Behavior Analyst Board (BCBA).
- Strong observation, communication, consultation and collaboration skills.
- Experience providing clinical leadership, mentoring, or supervision of behavior staff is strongly preferred.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Psychology, Behavioral Analysis, or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), with at least 3 years of supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of ABA techniques and principles, including but not limited to Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA), Positive Behavior Support (PBS), and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP).
- Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.

Pay
Expected Salary: $3,997.90 semi-monthly / $95,949.60 annually (The salary indicated represents a base pay rate. Years of service adjustments, shift differentials, and other targeted salary payments are applied to the total compensation of your paycheck and are subject to eligibility requirements of the appropriate differential.)
Schedule
Working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with Saturday/Sunday/Holidays off; however, you may need to flex hours for oversight of the various shifts to meet the needs of the facility.
