Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC)

About the role

Third Space Therapy combines the independence of private practice with the support of a group setting, focused on expanding Medicaid-covered behavioral healthcare. We're looking for passionate Associate Therapists to provide telehealth therapy to the Medicaid population.

Responsibilities

• Choose your work hours, appointment settings, and client load with our telehealth system, balancing professional autonomy with personal needs
• Our team manages all scheduling, insurance, billing, and credentialing tasks, allowing you to focus solely on client care
• Build a diverse caseload through our connections with insurers, universities, and community providers
• Enjoy the independence of private practice with the backing of a group — from wherever you work
• Earn meaningfully for the clinical work you deliver
• Accrue clinical hours toward your independent license while you practice
• Help close gaps in access to care for Medicaid members

Requirements

• A valid LAC license in good standing in the state of Arizona
• A Master’s degree in Counseling with a minimum of 6 months of hands-on therapy or assessment experience
• Experience working with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and other digital tools
• A quiet, HIPAA-compliant home office setup for confidential virtual sessions
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish is preferred, and knowledge of additional languages is a plus
