Responsibilities

• Guide beneficiaries as they navigate one of the most important purchasing decisions of their life, selecting their health insurance coverage.
• Consult and advise clients over the phone on their health insurance options.
• Partner with top national and regional health insurance companies to ensure customers get the right coverage for their situation.
• Participate in a sales role within a call center environment.
• Receive six weeks of training to get up and running quickly.
• This is a seasonal role beginning August 10th and ending on December 8th.

Requirements

• Currently possess an active resident state health insurance license.

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience or a passion for learning and growing in a sales role.
• Strong technology skills; can easily navigate between multiple systems.
• Coachable and teachable.
• High level of integrity and customer focus.
• Aligns with eHealth’s mission and demonstrates our values in behaviors, practices, and decisions.

Pay

Hourly Pay Rate - $20.00 USD

Highest potential annual commission target - $23,400

Schedule

Must be able to work 5:00AM-5:00PM PST, including weekends as needed. Must be available to work extended hours during the Annual Enrollment period, October 15th to December 7th.

Licensing

All candidates must undergo extensive background checks, including lifetime criminal background and credit history reports. eHealth may deny employment or terminate the employment of any applicant or employee for whom the results of the background check prevent or adversely affect licensing or certification.
