As the Assistant Salon Leader (ASL) at Hair Cuttery, you’ll serve as the "Right Hand" to the Salon Leader — the heartbeat of the shop, keeping energy high, guests happy, and the team on track. When the Salon Leader is out, you’re the captain of the ship. You’ll keep your creative edge behind the chair while gaining serious business and leadership chops, mentor the team using the IGROW model, lead by example with the Guest Journey, and help maintain a positive, productive salon culture.

Responsibilities
- Lead the floor: support daily operations, manage the appointment book in Zenoti, ensure every guest leaves feeling valued
- Coach & mentor: use the IGROW model to help fellow stylists hit their goals and grow their careers
- Maintain compliance: help ensure the salon meets all State Board and OSHA standards
- Execute marketing: help run local partnerships and digital campaigns to keep chairs full and the brand buzzing
Requirements
- Current Cosmetology license for the state where you’re applying
- Full-time commitment (minimum 40 hours per week)
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and dexterity to perform all salon services with precision
- Previous leadership experience a plus; great attitude, basic math skills (inventory/cash), and stellar communication are non-negotiable
- Bring personal equipment daily
