About the Role
As a Licensed Aesthetician & Laser Practitioner, you will play a pivotal role in delivering advanced skincare treatments and laser procedures to enhance clients' appearance and confidence. Your expertise will be essential in assessing individual skin types and conditions to develop personalized treatment plans that meet client goals while ensuring safety and efficacy. You will operate state-of-the-art laser equipment and perform a variety of aesthetic services, including hair removal, skin rejuvenation, and pigmentation correction. Minimum Qualifications
- Valid and current aesthetician license issued by the state of practice within the United States.
- Certification and documented training in laser therapy and laser safety.
- Laser experience
- Demonstrated experience performing laser treatments in a clinical or spa setting.
- Strong knowledge of skin anatomy, physiology, and common dermatological conditions.
- Ability to comply with all relevant health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional certifications in advanced laser technologies or specialized aesthetic treatments.
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary medical or dermatology practice.
- CPR and first aid certification.
- Strong customer service background with proven ability to build client rapport and trust.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough skin analyses and consultations to determine appropriate aesthetic and laser treatments for each client.
- Perform laser hair removal, skin resurfacing, pigmentation treatments, and other advanced laser procedures following established protocols.
- Maintain detailed client records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and any adverse reactions.
- Ensure all laser equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and used in compliance with safety regulations and manufacturer guidelines.
- Educate clients on pre- and post-treatment care to optimize results and minimize risks.
- Stay current with industry trends, new technologies, and continuing education to enhance skills and service offerings.
- Adhere to all state licensing requirements, health and safety standards, and clinic policies.
