License Practical Nurse, LPN

About the role

We are Regency Albany, a skilled nursing community in the Willamette Valley. We seek caring and compassionate individuals to support resident care as an LPN.

Responsibilities

• Train staff and assist the Director of Nursing
• Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents
• Assist residents with instrumental activities of daily living (ADLs), environmental orientation, medication administration, treatments, and other care
• Encourage self-care and independence, as permitted by state regulations
• Ensure care as indicated on resident treatment and service plans
• Know and follow infection control and safety procedures
• Review, update, and communicate resident care documentation
• Evaluate health emergencies to determine medical measures within the LPN scope of practice and state regulations

Requirements

• A current LPN license in good standing
• New graduates are encouraged to apply
