Duties
- Medication assistance/administration

Support
- Train staff
- Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents
- Aid residents with instrumental activities of daily living (ADLs), environmental orientation, assistance or administration with medication, treatments, and other care
- Encourage self-care and independence, as permitted by state regulations
- Know and follow infection control and safety procedures
- Review, update, and communicate resident care documentation
- Evaluate health emergencies to determine medical measures per LPN scope of practice and state regulations
