Responsibilities
- Train staff and assist the director of nursing
- Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents
- Aid residents with instrumental activities of daily living (ADLs), environmental orientation, medication administration, treatments, and other care
- Encourage self-care and independence, as permitted by state regulations
- Follow infection control and safety procedures
- Review, update, and communicate resident care documentation
- Evaluate health emergencies to determine medical measures per LPN scope of practice and state regulations
Requirements
- A current LPN license in good standing
- New graduates are encouraged to apply
Qualifications
- Experience in nursing services
- Ability to provide compassionate care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
