About the role

As an LPN, you are essential to quality resident care. Weekend rotation is included in a long-term, stable facility with leadership that values and respects work-life balance.

Responsibilities

  • Train staff and assist the director of nursing
  • Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents
  • Assist residents with instrumental activities of daily living (ADLs), environmental orientation, medication assistance or administration, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence, as permitted by state regulations
  • Ensure care as indicated on resident treatment and service plans
  • Know and follow infection control and safety procedures
  • Review, update, and communicate resident care documentation
  • Evaluate health emergencies to determine medical measures per LPN scope of practice and state regulations

Requirements

  • Current LPN license in good standing
