Welcome to Kauai Care Center, where your dedication will make a significant difference in the lives of our residents. We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Medication assistance/administration
- Nursing services
- Training / supervising staff
- All things related to resident well-being
- Train staff and assist the director of nursing
- Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents
- Assist residents with instrumental activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Environmental orientation, assistance or administration with medication, treatments, and other care
- Encourage self-care and independence, as permitted by state regulations
- Know and follow infection control and safety procedures
- Review, update and communicate resident care documentation
- Evaluate health emergencies to determine medical measures per LPN scope of practice and state regulations
Requirements
- Valid Hawaii Nursing License
- Available for weekend rotation
