About the role

Responsibilities

• Train staff and assist the director of nursing
• Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents
• Aid residents with instrumental activities of daily living (ADLs), environmental orientation, medication administration, treatments, and other care, while encouraging self-care and independence
• Follow infection control and safety procedures
• Review, update, and communicate resident care documentation
• Evaluate health emergencies to determine medical measures within the LPN scope of practice and state regulations

Requirements

• A current LPN license in good standing
• New graduates are encouraged to apply

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
