License Practical Nurse

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing medical insight
• Work in an increasingly autonomous role
• Participate in the assessment, planning, and implementation of medical care
• Provide oversight and training of direct care staff in monitoring the medical systems
• Participate in team meetings and provide medically related in-services to program staff

Requirements

• Must hold a NYS Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License
• Must meet education, experience, licensure/certification requirements as applicable
• Must possess essential physical capabilities (e.g., lifting, assisting lifting, standing, etc.)
• Requirements may vary by assigned function and/or contract
• Refer to applicable regulations/contracts for all position requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Med/Surg experience
• Experience with intellectually and developmentally disabled population

Pay

Salary is up to 55000 USD annually
