License Office Clerk

Job Duties

• Engage with customers and answer routine questions.
• Type transactions without errors and proofread their completed work before transmitting the transaction.
• Answer the telephone, answer routine questions, or refer customers to the appropriate office to obtain necessary documentation needed for transaction.
• Operate standard office equipment.
• Process transactions offered by the license office.

Skills

• An introductory knowledge of business English and Math.
• An introductory knowledge of computer information systems and software.
• The ability to understand and follow instructions and ask if there is any uncertainty.
• The ability to type accurately.
• The ability to proofread material.
• The ability to handle cash, check, and credit card transactions accurately.
• The ability to learn, perform, and accurately complete assigned tasks within established timeframes.
• The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and public.
• The ability to be punctual.

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or proof of high school equivalency.
• Clerical experience preferred.
• The ability to pass a background check.
• The ability to pass a drug screening.
• The ability to pass a Missouri Criminal History System digital fingerprinting check for specific roles.
• A Missouri resident and current on all Missouri taxes.
