LIC PHYSICAL THERAPY ASST

Responsibilities

• Directs, modifies, and administers physical therapy modalities under supervision of the staff physical therapist.
• Administers treatments and physical agents as directed by the staff physical therapist after evaluation of the patient.
• Aids in the restoration of patient functioning to prevent disability following injury, disease, or physical disability.
• Aids patients in reaching their maximum performance and level of functioning, while teaching them to live within their capabilities.

Qualifications

• One (1) year of previous experience in aspects of rehabilitative medicine preferred.
• A. A. degree from a school or college approved by the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Holds current Texas License as Physical Therapy Assistant.
• BCLS (CPR).
