Library/Tech Integration - Leave Replacement

About the role

This position serves as a leave replacement for a full-time educator in Kent School District.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned classes according to Kent School District curriculum and standards.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional strategies and support student success.
• Maintain classroom management and ensure a safe, inclusive learning environment.
• Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians as needed.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to improve teaching skills.

Requirements

• Valid Washington State teaching certificate or eligibility to obtain one.
• At least two years of successful teaching experience.
• Strong commitment to equity, excellence, and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field.
• Experience with technology integration in the classroom.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Skills

Pay

The annualized salary range for this position is from $75,276 to $146,936, prorated based on FTE and contract length.

Schedule

The schedule is a 185 KEA Calendar Annualized School Year, with a 26.27 school year contract length.
