Library Service Associate PT

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Implement children’s programs for Summer Reading Program, After School Program and tutoring program under direct supervision of the Library Manager.
• Work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as requested.
• Continuation of this position is contingent upon funding allocations.

OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate Degree in Library Studies, Education, Communications, Human Development, Psychology, Sociology, Native American Studies, Social Work or a closely related field.
• One (1) year of experience working in a library, classroom setting or public program planning.
• Two (2) years of customer service and computer experience with knowledge of databases and the internet; a combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Experience using social media technology.
• Knowledge of smartphones, laptops and tablets.
