About the role

The Town of Wayland Public Library seeks a part-time Library Page. This position is ideal for high school students with an interest in library science.

Responsibilities

• Shelve all kinds of library materials accurately, according to Library classification systems
• Maintain orderliness of library materials
• Sort items before shelving
• Collect requested materials
• Manage the library’s returns book drop

Requirements

• Must be at least 14 years of age
• Demonstrated ability to interact with the public with patience and tact
• Excellent organization talents and attention to detail
• Good written and oral communication skills
