Liberty High School Dean of Students (TOSA)

Hillsboro School District is seeking a dedicated educational leader for a temporary Teacher On Special Assignment (TOSA) - Dean of Students position at Liberty High School for the 2026-2027 school year. This 1.0 FTE role collaborates directly with the administrative leadership team to foster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment for all students.

About the Role

• Collaborative Leadership: Work alongside building administrators to guide student behavior, enforce code-of-conduct guidelines, and support classroom management strategies.
• Student Advocacy & Intervention: Help design and execute individual student behavior plans, 504 plans, and intervention programs to support academic and personal growth.
• Community & Staff Engagement: Serve as a resource for educators, engage parents in goal setting, and help coordinate school-wide assessment and community outreach initiatives.

Requirements

• Valid State of Oregon Teaching License.
• Bachelor’s degree minimum; completion of or current enrollment in an administrative credential program.
• Certificate in a District-approved student intervention system (or ability to obtain within 60 days).
• Strong communication skills, technical proficiency with school data systems, and a commitment to supporting diverse student populations.

Preferences

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.

Pay

Salary range from $57,274 to $118,111 annually (10-month calendar).
