About the role
As we transition from a construction-based company to an innovative manufacturing-based company, M3C needs a Virtual Design LGS Framing Modeler to enhance the design of customer projects and M3C components, streamline the manufacturing process, and develop our product catalog.
Responsibilities
- Generate high-quality, detailed, and defect-free designs, spool sheets, and installation drawings.
- Participate in design-assist efforts for projects and improve operations, processes, methods, and quality.
- Create wall panel, POD, steel, and MEP component models using design software.
- Produce shop, fabrication, and installation drawings to support shop fabrication and field installation.
- Identify cost-effective, quality-based means and methods of design and manufacturing.
- Review, collaborate, and coordinate drawings with other in-house trades.
- Solve and resolve coordination, design, and manufacturing challenges.
- Attend all required team, customer, division, project, and coordination meetings.
- Stay updated with drawing and work-order management, completing BOMs, material procurement, automated files, submittals, and requisitions as needed.
- Collaborate with clients, consultants, M3C team, and general contractors to ensure design intent and installation.
- Achieve compliance and adherence to company policies, standards, and systems.
- Understand and improve upon the company, its people, and current processes.
Requirements
- Expertise with Structsoft/MWF, Onyx, and automation files to feed Howick Frama 7600.
- Expertise with Autodesk, specifically Revit, ACC, Sisque. Evolve, and CamDuct.
- Expertise in metal stud framing, components, manufacturing equipment, and design.
- Expertise in architectural, structural, and MEP drawings, details, and construction.
- Knowledge of modular, prefabrication, manufacturing, and assembly (DFMA).
Qualifications
- Experience with design software such as Revit, ACC, Sisque. Evolve, and CamDuct.
- Strong understanding of metal stud framing, components, and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to produce shop, fabrication, and installation drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to coordinate with various teams.
- Proficiency in communication and collaboration with clients, consultants, and internal teams.

Pay
DOE - $35 - $50 per hour
