Lexus Parts Counterperson

About the role

Lexus of Westport is seeking an experienced Parts Counterperson to join their service department. The ideal candidate should be committed to supporting technicians and customers while managing efficient parts operations.

Responsibilities

• Aid technicians and service advisors with parts requests in a timely and accurate manner
• Identify, source, and order parts using manufacturer and aftermarket catalogs
• Maintain accurate inventory records and participate in inventory control processes
• Receive, stock, and organize incoming parts shipments
• Process warranty, return, and special-order parts as needed
• Ensure parts department areas remain clean, organized, and efficient
• Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers

Requirements

• Previous automotive parts experience required
• Lexus/Toyota experience preferred, but not required
• Strong knowledge of automotive parts and inventory processes
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Computer proficiency and experience with dealership management systems preferred
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
