Level II MT/PT Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform Level II Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) and Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT) inspections.
• Set up and perform MT and PT examinations in accordance with applicable codes, specifications, procedures, and industry standards.
• Adhere to quality control procedures and safety protocols.
• Interpret and evaluate test indications.
• Document test results, including writing reports and maintaining accurate records.
• Collaborate with management to ensure testing procedures meet project requirements and customer expectations.
• Manage long-term projects effectively and professionally.
• Communicate with customer/client representatives and management to meet established deadlines.
• Participate in training programs to stay current on industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Provide guidance and on-the-job training to trainees and assistants.
• Perform additional NDE service methods as required.

Requirements

• Current or previously certified in accordance with SNT-TC-1A Level II MT and PT methods.
• Strong knowledge of applicable industry codes and standards, including ASME, API, AWS, and customer-specific requirements.
• List of projects managed or performed as a Level II MT/PT Technician.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to pass Motor Vehicle History Evaluations.
• Pass Drug/Alcohol, Fit for Duty, and Ergonomic Testing policies and procedures.
• Successfully pass the Company's Level II MT and PT certification examinations upon hire.
