Level 3 RN ICU
Job Summary
Talented Medical Solutions is seeking 3 RNs for a contract position in an ICU setting in Tahlequah, OK. The positions are 12 nights per week, 13 weeks in duration.
About the Role
Provide direct patient care to adults and pediatrics who are acutely ill with a wide variety of medical problems and/or diseases. Work in a setting with 25 beds and patient ratios ranging from 1:5 to 1:6. Utilize an automated medication dispensing system called Pixys and an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system named Cerner.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patient vitals and report changes to healthcare team
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
- Ensure patient comfort and safety
- Participate in ongoing professional development
Requirements
- Required NIHSS certification for all RNs/LPNs
- Single state Oklahoma license or Compact nursing license
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience
- BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required
- AHAM certification required
- Pediatric experience required
- Must wear a mask at all times in the ICU
Qualifications
- Current single state Oklahoma license or Compact nursing license
- At least 3 years of relevant clinical experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Active American Heart Association (AHA) certification
- Experience working in an ICU environment
